That's a loaded question.
Women are fickle.
Myself, being a woman, can say this much....
I like a man who is funny.
I like a man who is good with power tools. He needn't be a pro but he ought to not be afraid to try them.
I like a man who has friends and hobbies.
I like a man who will accept and tolerate my moodiness. A man who will respect that I am emotional but not cater to me.
I like a man who will inspire and encourage my independence.
I like a man who is happy to hear from me once or twice a day.
I like a man who takes out the garbage and picks up his dirty clothes.
Women are not too complicated. If you pay strict attention for three months, you will detect the pattern.

A man with a college education, good job, and comes home for dinner, and a nice car and wears nice shoes.. someone who would make a good father for thier future children, and puts her on a pedistool and keeps her in his top three pryority list with only God and their children before her...

Nice, smart, most girls go for the good-looking (personally, I don't care), a good listener, understanding, good manners.
Some girls don't expect much, others, a lot.
Girls don't expect you to give up EVERYTHING to spend time with her, but you should still be in tune to what she's doing.
Listening is a key skill to a successful relationship.

it really does depend on the girl but usually they like when u have a good attitude. A girl ALWAYS needs respect and support from the guy.

i mostly like a guy for his personality. ex. like the guy i really like right now, i've never noticed him until we started talking and he started making me laugh like crazy. he looks average but his personality is to die for. and now i couldn't get my mind off of him. so looks aren't everything. =D

well, i'll tell you why i love my bf.
he's understanding, thoughtful, respectful, positive, self-confident, romantic, handsome, knows when to joke, makes me happy when i'm sad, oh-so-many-more-things...
in short, he is a good example to me because of his good character :) the handsome part is a plus point! :D
