Yes its your sister in-laws decision in what religion to believe in but maybe you can direct her to the website carm.org I left a link there. Where you can go over the reason why your catholic in-laws are so upset. I know I'd be if my sister turned into a Mormon. Nothing against mormon people but there views are flawed. Religion is very important in family I understand that but from what I've seen from the Mormon people who live down the street from me is this. They're pathetic parents who don't even know how to keep track of their kids, they're racist didn't allow african americans into their religion until the 1980's, you become god of a planet, in order for a woman to go to a higher level of heaven the husband must ask, their rules constantly change like no drinking caffeine because its bad for you but when a mormon bought part of coke caffeine was good to them so it was alright to drink. It's constantly changing reliigion and everything that is stated in the bible is contradicted in the book of mormon.

Gosh, how Christ-like of everyone...

Maybe your sister-in-law as an actual reason for joining the LDS church, like maybe she actually believes it is right! How dare she want to better herself and her family. Check it out, see what you think, it's not scary, it's the most complete gospel on the earth and kudos to her for finding out the truth.

refuse to listen to "the good Christians" bad mouth their daughter. if they start, leave the room.
you are right it is her choice and her right to decide her own religion.
stay out of the fight. stay neutral. stay friends with the sister in law.
have a good holiday!

Well....Theres the problem....your in-laws......Hi.....my name is jeff....I was born catholic.....and I haven't found one catholic who can accept anyone other than their own religion....A true believer in God isn't going to look down upon another for there beliefs.....only if they don't believe....do you think that God is looking down upon your sister-in and saying(with his hand on his forhead)...." I can't believe she's a mormom !"....No.....he isn't....He's saying (In glory) " I'm glad that she found what worked for her to believe in me when so many people are lost in the world today .....Praise her !" Now....people get mad at me for saying this....but....here goes....There shouldn't be any such thing as religon.....If you look over the past years....it's done nothing but tear apart the very fabric of what God has been triing to say...." LOVE ALL " ...." FORGIVE ALL ".. Catholics teach one way....Christians another....Mormons another.....the differances in each is what each religion fights about....but if you think about it....no matter what religion....only the same call true in all....Jesus is the son of man....He died on the cross for Our sins (that means everyone)....He arose from his death....and will return agian....And no matter who's bible you look in....you'll always find the same equals....Love your brother and your sister cause we are All children of God...And forgive all those who trespass against you....thats what God is all about.....I'm not a Catholic anymore....infact ...I'm no religion....I'm just a humble servant and believer in the Lord...When people aks me what religion I believe in....I simply say.." GODS ".....Since I've been saying that I havn't had to defend any religion....and it's just for that reason about your in-laws that I stoped practicing the Catholic religion....they are the only religion that would put you down for not believing in thiers and say bad things in slanader....if thats what there god is like....if thats what thier god teaches....tell them to keep that miserable....horseblind wearing o'l fart to them selves....who needs him whom is with out love for all whom believe ! Tell them to stay home and you guys go on and celibrate the real God with the love that didn't seperate the rest of you!!

I would stay out of it. I know it's hard to hear these things about her, but this is something that she should talk to them about.
