C'mon. There is more than enough evidence for Jesus being the savior by both Christian & secular sources...you are being foolish.

Go and read this book, "More Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by atheist turned Christian, Josh McDowell. Then you will be more informed to make such foolish statements.

That is a very good question. Somehow it is something a lot of people either shrug off or praise. Unless of course, the name is of a faith other than theirs. Look at September 11th- a profound example of people dying for their faith. What people must realize is that the terrorists were real, thinking people who firmly believed what they said they believed. They really believed they were doing God's will, and they really believed they were going straight to Heaven when they died.
Why is it bad for them to believe without faith, but good for Christians? Because THEIR mommies told them Islam was right, but OUR mommies told us Christianity was right.

Humans are idiots. People die of AIDS every single day. Men, women, BABIES! We have seen the images of people stricken with the disease and we have heard their stories. Yet people continue to screw complete strangers and have unprotected sex. Why? Because seeing is not believing.

So even if God himself parted the sky and started handing out gold coins, there would still be skeptics who would say it was a mass hallucination caused by the effects of smog. If I were God I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince the world.

The pharisees (religious leaders in Jesus' time) asked for proof - after seeing miracles performed right in front of their eyes. Jesus answered that He would not give them any more proof until He rose from the dead. Even with the empty tomb, still they did not believe. There is proof, it's just that many choose not to accept it.

I have no preference to any faith but would rightfully die to protect my country, so yes i would die in the name of faith, the faith that my country deserved my sacrifice, but still that does neith to prove of disprove anything about any religion.
