while Jesus became into baptized by using John the Baptis a dove got here and landed on Him and a voice became into heard asserting. "that's my cherished Son with whom i'm properly extremely joyful. pay attention to Him" Jesus is the Son of God and consistently does what's gorgeous to His Father in Heaven. Jesus and God are of the same spirit. for this reason God has given all judgment into His hand.

The whole Bible talks about how Jesus is the Son of God
One of my favorite and one of the most popular:
John 3 :16
For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son. That whosoever believes in Him shall not parish, but have eternal life.
Actually....just read the whole book of John :)

Good question, I have just been wondering about that & I am a Bible scholar.
He doesn't. But what He does say is to trust in, believe in, put your faith in Him for eternal life.
This belief in Him also includes believing who he was. Some can be saved and not realize he was God, eventhough He has clearly claimed to be God, allowed others to worship him, & the Jews understood that he was claiming to be deity & wanted to kill him for it!

Jesus says ,"I am the way the truth and the life and no man cometh unto the Father through me."
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believer in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus also said, "I and my Father are one."

Matthew 16:13-20.---Jesus asked Peter who people thought he was. Then he asked him, "Who do you say I am?"You are Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus then said that on that fact (that he is the the Christ, the Son of the living God) he would build his church.
A deeper study of the Bible shows that "the Christ" and "the Son of God is God."

I seriously believe that message has been mistranslated. I don't think he said that you have to believe in him. It just doesn't seem like Jesus' style. His whole ministry was about not hurting each other.
To say all that and then put in, "Oh, you have to follow me otherwise you go to hell." doesn't seem like it would have come from Jesus' mouth.
I look at it this way. Would Jesus care more about people believing in him or would he care more about people not being so nasty to each other?
