I just came on this site, hoping to help out with some questions, and I was shocked at how everyone's snipping at each other! This is America, freedom of religion. Why can't we discuss these matters like adults?

Sorry, non-Americans. Didn't realize this was on the world part of Yahoo.

There are intelligent, respectful, adult believers and non believers on this site, how ever there are a lot of children that like to play on here also,.
look at their user name and that will give you a hint as to how childish they are.
there are some good questions, and a lot of good answers from both side, but sometimes they get they get buried by the Trolls.

you have to pick the questions you look at, and ignore the answers that are abusive.

you have to understand that CHRISTians are made to believe that they must do there part to speak the Gospel to everyone that comes their way.
They must do their part in saving as many souls as they possibly can.

There are many approaches to doing this, but the most popular seems to be the head on approach. Accept the words that I say are true, right now, or youre disobeying GOD whos working through me and wants you to believe wat I say is true.

Unfortunately thats not the way most people will respond, or even listen to someone that holds such a mentality.

And this creates that great communication gap between all those religious goers and those that thy feel need to be saved by there words.

If religious groupswould learn to listen to why people are the way they are and why they believe or dont believe then perhaps they will have a better chance at spreading what they are suppose to.
But they would rather talk then listen.

And they would rather not extend the same patience they required when someone came to them as they go out to others and they werent ready at the time.

You really cant blame them though, so long as you understand them and their mission.

I guess not. People get too emotional and defensive. It's hard to look at things logically when it's that way.

Also ... This site isn't just America. There are a lot of people from different countries, with different languages. Haha, I'm not being snippy, it's just so you know. (Someone may get offended.)
