I live in Colorado. We have a pretty big Latino population (mostly Mexican) Our Walmarts have adobo and the basic Goya seasonings. The carniceria (Mexican market) carries a huge variety of the Goya seasonings.

I don't think so...Walmart stores, even the really big ones, like we have here, don't seem to carry a whole lot of "ethnic" stuff. I've never seen any adobo products (not even the flavored frozen chicken thighs!!) there. They only seem to carry the basics- yellow rice, beans and rice, etc. They're not big into catering to specialized groups... the Asian and Hispanic foods sections in most Walmarts are almost an insult!

It's usually by a company named "Goya",,it is a red powdered spice that consists of anneto, and it does have msg in it also but it does an awesome job with arroz con gandules to give rice that orange color.

i've seen adobo ! but not the mix your asking about,
actually i believe that sazon is no more than a mix of kithen spices (salt,pepper,chile-flakes,etc.) and mixed with the aromatic, and coloring items ,i'd say it's easier to mix your own !
post it if you find it ! g-d luck!
