What should i do now? (gonna be my 1st date ever >.<)?

I was talking to my crush yesterday
We are both seniors at high school
I have been secretly crushing on this girl and hinting her

we were talking about movies (i just got back from it at that time) so she suggested some other ones that i should see

then she followed up with when am I going to go see it
cause she says "cuz i want to come too" (since she work there so I think she can go in for free)

I said sure

Does she want to give me a shot (How does she know i like her)?
What should i do now and the movie?

WHEN is the best date for this? Close to xmas?

I do NOT want to screw this up...
Should i bring her a gift? (I have already bought her a gift that she told that she wanted it ... should i give it to her on that day or as
orginiall planned - as her xmas present?)

Today she was waving at me in class but i thought she was waving to her friend so i didnt wave back... I found out when she was told me and was so embarrassed....

since its my 1st date
I have NO IDEA what i should do...
In addition... what date should i make this?

Son,let me tell ya what!!!! Does she have to hit you between the eyes with a 2x4 to get the point across to you SHE WANTS TO GO YOU WITH YOU!!!!!!! Ask her out NOW! And the sooner the better(like Fri or sat or sun afternoon which ever she is available) I'm talking 12-8,12-9,12-10 !!!! El Pronto. Just act NOW!!!!OK, after she has said yes and ya got the time and day(s) set Go pick her up at her house and arrive about 5 min early so you can chit chat with her Father / Mother. Be sure to address them as Mr. or Mrs. Tell them they have a nice house. Then tell them where you two are going and what you are seeing and ask them what time they want you to bring her home? When she enters the room stand up, if you aren't already, tell her she looks lovely. Now turn back to the parent(s) and say it was nice talking to you Mr & Mrs, Whatever their last name is, and walk out with her exiting the door first. Are you driving or walking? If driving,open her door for her and then close it gently enough just to get it shut. Always open the door for her ! If you two are walking to the theatre you walk closest to the street with her on the inside.And then reach for her hand and hold it only letting go to pass someone on the sidewalk letting her lead the way and then resume holding her hand. As soon as you (if your driving) get out of the car reach for her hand and hold it to the door of the movie house,again opening the door for her letting go of her hand . Get the popcorn and drinks and go inside and sit down and for the time being don't worry about holding her hand while watching the movie unless she reaches for your after wiping off the butter. If she needs to go to the ladies room you escort her there, If you got to go let her remain seated (Do Not Forget where you were sitting as I did this on my first date ) After the show ask her what she would like to eat or if she would like something else like icecream and go there and chit chat till it is time to leave. Repeat the hand holding procedure as outlined earlier and get her home 15 min earlier than her parents said to (brownie pts. with them) Pause at the door ,telling her what an enjoyable evening you have had with her.If she invites you in say OK for just a few min.go in and say your hellos to the parents and sit not real close to her but close enough and after about 10 min. say It's time for you to leave. If she walks out the door with you or if she stops at the door before letting you out(assuming her parents have left the room) this is your cue to give her a good night kiss. Guys usually tilt ther heads a little to the right and kiss her softly and for about 2 seconds. Be sure to tell her good night. There ya go easy as pie and ask her if you can call her then be sure to call her the next day. Oh yea, I forgot ,no gift is needed on a first date. It also is good to ask her what she plans to wear so you are neither over dressed or under dressed. Don't Worry Be Happy and try to relax(even though your stomach is doing flip flops)

First of all, she probably knows because you were being more obvious than you thought you were. That's actually a good thing because things seem to be going well for you. Go on your date, be you genuinely you, don't pretend to like things you don't, and don't try so hard to impress her that you mislead her into thinking your just like her. That way if the two of you end up together you wont have to continuously pretend, you'll know your liked for who you are.

She probably doesn't know you like her shes just hoping you do, its pheromones your chemicals mix so to say. give her the gift for Christmas, giving it to her right away will make it way to obvious that you have it bad for her. But do take a gift, a simple gesture, like a box of cookies you baked yourself. That's different and very sweet.
