I had a friend tell me that taking birth control pills ( even if you cannot get pregnant ) causes your hair to become thicker and longer> She said her grandma and mother ( both in Mexico) do this and have very thick hair. Has anyone else ever heard anything about this?

Coming from a scientific assistant who has labored with many ob/gyns...your subject is particularly complicated and you elect an ob/gyn expert that is going to take time with you and fairly handle your concerns. i could hit upon a sparkling surgeon, and once you call to make an appointment tell them which you relatively choose a protracted preliminary seek for suggestion from. Drs do no longer in lots of circumstances advise to be short with sufferers yet while they are basically scheduled for quarter-hour it makes it troublesome. My wager is you elect a minimum of 40 5 minutes for examination and questions. there are various, many categories of pills and you ought to objective all of them and have no luck. there is the dep. shot. and that i'm not sure if the neuva ring has latex or no longer...yet its well worth looking into. There are hormonal creams that is formulated basically for you that comprise specific quantities of estrogen, progesterone, or the two. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrom could be particularly the subject, and counting on your discomfort and how inconvenienced you're with the aid of all this bleeding...you desire to to evaluate a hysterectomy in case you're executed having toddlers. i actually think of you may have your individual hormone stages examined and notice the place you're while in comparison with primary. you may have all of the thyroid attempt executed TSH, T4, T3 and so on, and likewise estrogen and progesterone stages. this form, if it fairly is the source of the subject you may get it under administration.

i can't say that i've heard that it can make your hair longer and thicker. however, i have heard that some of the birth control pills have hormones in them, which depending on the person, can make them hairier in general. this is why its important to go to a good doctor who can perscribe the best pill for you.
