well you need to ignore her bad behaviour the more you give her attention like eye contact, yelling, petting, she may think shes doing something good. Look up to the roof, cross your arms and wait until she calms down. When she does praise her with a treat. Eventually she will make the connection. It may take awile for her to calm down on the first few times.

Good luck...she will learn dont worry.

Make sure you wait her out until she stops jumping. If you allow her to jump while you put the leash on, you are reinforcing the behavior. Ask her to sit before you put her leash on. Wait until she does, praise her and then go for your walk. It may take a few times for her to figure out that all she has to do is obey your command and she'll get to go out, but it's very important to wait it out. If you don't, you undermine not only your authority, but the basis of any command you give her. Good luck....

Make the "Stop" position with your hand and hold it over her face and tell her "NO!" Kind of like "talk to the hand" but face her as you do it and say "NO!" in a low forthright voice. Then hold her in a sitting position and tell her what a good puppy she is as you put her leash on her.

She'll get it soon. She's just so happy to see you and even more excited to go for a walk!

Okay. First, if your dog is telling you that she needs to go out, you need to praise her for letting you know. Second, you need to start to train her to sit BEFORE you will let her out. I did this with my extra-super-hyper German Short Haired Pointer, and it works GREAT! So, when she starts getting all crazy, tell her "Sit," and when she does sit, immediately grab her collar, and hook her to the leash. If she won't sit right away, help push her butt down so that she knows what you want her to do. Also, make sure that she knows that you are in charge, she shouldn't be pulling you around when you hold her collar, you should be pulling her. To help do this, pull her close in to your body while holding her collar, it gives her less room to pull you around, and gives you more control over her. Good luck!

it kinda depends on what size dog you have, the smaller the dog its not that big of a problem. I have a boxer and they are always jumping. most dogs grow out of the jumping phase as they get older. it just took time with mine. She stopped around a year old. also, it might mean that shes just really excited to go outside, you might want to take her on a walk each day, or other day, to get some of the fiestyness out of her.

To stop the jumping, encourage her to jump on you, then gently bring your knee up & knne her chest.. It will knock the wind out of her a ittle, but she wont be hurt. Theoyou love her & tell her that I you love.

You mayhave to do this several times, but it works better that stepping on back toes, as I once was taught.
