Make sure you're not instigating arguments. It may not be on purpose, but by correcting you mom when she pronounces it "catsup" instead of "ketchup" (or something like that) can easily invite and arguement. Also, don't be too eager to fight back. If you're dad is adamant that it's his turn to pick the TV channel, just let it go, it not a big deal right?
Try to pick your battles. Stick to your guns when it matters, but let the little things go. Your parents are likely stressed about work/ the holidays/ money/ whatever, and they may be accidently taking it out on you.
Also, you could always talk to them about it. Be nice and polite, but be honest too.
Good luck and God bless.

In a non-confrontational way bring up the fact that you have been arguing with each other a lot lately. Tell them that this bothers you and that you would like to find a solution to this problem. Suggest to them that when they disagree with you about something that they should only argue about it if they really think it is very important. Perhaps if the disagrement is about more trivial things they can try and not bring it up.
Good luck.
