Im in high school ad i get picked on.?

Im in love with this girl. Shes the most popular girl in scool. Im more or less a loser here. Im not good at anything besides school. I get picked on all the time. This jock Eric, that seems like a god around here and is captain of everything, picks on me. So basicaly what im asking is how do I become cooler to get the girl and get the guy to stop picking on me. O and mabye show him up.

Aw hun! The best thing to do is be the more mature guy..girls LOVE that! Don't stoop to his level and just ignore him or turn the other cheek as they say. Don't give him the pleasure of knowing he upsets you, just don't give him the time of day, he doesn't deserve your time anyway. HOWEVER, if he continues you may have to tell him off, and do not ever let him hit or touch you. School is a place where you are supposed to be able to learn and have a good environment with no worries of some idiot jerk harassing you. If she is the right kind of girl, she will be turned off by his jerk ways and him picking on you. Just become a friend to her at first and she will see what a great, smart guy that you are, and then maybe ask her if she would like to join you for a movie or something sometime. Well first off. Do you even know the girl who you are in love with. And by that I do not mean that you have followed her around to see what she is doing. I mean have you known her and been friends with her. Also if you think that you are not cool it is probably because you make yourself and easy target. Like you fight back when someone picks on you. Just keep a poker-face and eventually everything will sort its self out. Eric seems to be just basically a jerk, like most jocks are. (no offense) I should know I used to hang out with the popular people, and let me tell you that it isn't as great as you think that it is. They may seem cool but they really are almost always plastic and have the same conversations over and over again. If you really want to become cooler you may just try to be yourself and if they don't like it then you were obviously not meant to be friends with the popular people. And as I said before that is not always a bad thing.

So the things you need to do are:
1. Stop making yourself an easy target.
2. Decide whether you really want to be friends with the people who make your life miserable.
and
3. Follow that path accordingly.

Well, first of all being popular isn't everything, and you should be yourself and if this girl your in "love" with can't except you now then it isn't meant to be. And about Eric, in 10 years nobody from your high school will even remember him. Nobody will be able to remember what brand of jeans you wore or what sports you played, just what kind of person you were. I would just tell you to be yourself, and make yourself approachable and not overly shy. And if your good in school, it will pay off for you in your future, because while all these jocks are loving their life right now, in reality they are most likely going to be asking "do you want fries with that?" or setting around their house watching sports on the TV with their beer belly's saying, yeah I could have been pro, but....
.So while you may not see how great your life is now, you will once you graduate and start making major money.

When you all grow up,
The jock is gonna get fat and lay around on the couch and eat chips all day and have a lousy 9 to 5 job.
The popular girl is gonna have an unplanned pregnancy and make some really bad choices and end up marrying someone like the jock.
The geek/loser will go to college and get a job that makes a lot of money and have a happy life with the plain girl you went to high school with who grew up to be a hottie.

The coolest thing, regardless of age, is confidence. That is what girls are attracted to, and guys respect. If you can come up with some witty come-backs when people say s*** to you, that would be good. Just say them in a calm, cool voice like whatever, you really don't give a damn, like you're above it. Let everything roll off your back (I know, easier said than done).
You say you're not good at anything "besides school"? So you're good at school? Listen, I was like that too. But I was proud of my success in school, and people picked up on my pride in myself. One day I overheard someone say, "She makes it cool to be a nerd." Try to do the same thing. Make a joke about Bill Gates having the last laugh over the dumb jocks who are nobody now... When you appreciate yourself, you will emanate that, and then others will appreciate you more too.
Make little jokes if you get the highest grade or something, not putting anyone else down (unless they put you down first!), but just enjoying that that is your "niche," you know what I mean? Know and appreciate your own strengths, and view your "flaws" or "weak points" as endearing, charming little quirks, cute. That is exactly how your future wife will see you, someone who loves you; so see yourself that way too.

Never, never, never refer to yourself as a "loser." First before you're going to get very far, you have to be your own best friend. Things will go a lot easier for you when you change your thinking around. Also, anyone who picks on you and doesn't even know you is an idiot. These people are weak and are lacking something in their personality that they actually see in you. Trust me, I've been there, done that, and have a jacket to prove it. Once you work on you, you can get anything/anyone you want.

Be yourself... Yes, high school and teenage years are hard, but if you are good in school then that is great because your education will get you somewhere. People can be mean and I am not really sure what to say on how to get the kid to stop picking on you but be you and be happy with the friends and people you have because they are the ones who care about you...
