Met a girl who trained me at an old job of mine. Ever since, we'd have deep convos where she'd usually call me, and confide in me about a lot for hours on end. She also would laugh at things I didn't mean to be funny, and was apologetic alot when she didn't need to be. She would also call me up during a holiday and also spent 5 hours on the phone with me the other night, apologizing saying how she had been busy because of her job.

She does have a boyfriend though, that's why I'm not pushing it. They been together for 4 years, but she'll tell me that it's not the greatest, and when she goes over there she makes it sound like its a night job rather than spending time with him. She also says to me that she's faithful.
What is it that's going on......exactly? Is there more to it than can be assumed already?
BTW, here relationship is on the outs and she's telling me she's getting out?
I haven't heard back from her yet about the party and she swore she'd let me know soon.

Cheesecake, best friends ask their friends to formal dances? Last I heard that means they either are or would like something more with who they're inviting.

She's having an emotional affair with you. Back off for a while if you're really interested, let her end her current realtionship and get on her own two feet before you try for anything.

You have entered the dreaded,...."Friend Zone!!!!!" You are her straight "gay friend" a guys she confides in as a friend, you are that and that is all...spent eight years in the friend zone once, same deal, I gave her those great conversations, intelligence, being a good man, meanwhile what she had was crap but she stayed, but then she finally left him and I stepped right out of the friend zone right? WRONG...she knew how I felt about her and didnt feel like saying anything until I actually had some hope it would happen, and the same thing will happen to you...they love having that guy around that they know likes them but is not like the man they have...you are the other man in her life, with out the benifits of being "her man." Get out of the friend zone now or stay and know you wont be going anywhere else most likely...

You may be the one giving off the wrong signals. She may be interested in you but if you keep playing the best freind act, thats exactly what you will have. Be blunt, ask her where she's coming from. I've had best men freinds, but it sounds like she is waiting for you to make a move. Check-Mate***

ok, I am not a woman, but I know a women need someone to talk to just as much as any human. It's nice to have the opposite sex to discuss things with at times. You can be free with your thoughts and it's just nice to have the voice to hear. (I know that is partly what I like, when I discuss things with a woman). Plus a friend of the opposite can give you insight and reactions that would be simular to that sex. Sounds like she is your friend. But if you would like more, then you just need to voice it. Otherwise, you are just guessing.

ok, this is kinda a complicated thing cuz she likes u but she doesnt wanna admit it and she has an incling that you like her but she doesnt have the strength to break up with her boyfriend. so if you really like this girl than wait around for her if not then just forget about it until she comes to you. DON'T pressure her into doin anything that she doesnt wanna do!

I don't know her so I'm not totally sure, but to me it sounds like she is wanting a relationship with you and is paving the way towards it. Going from one relationship to another is the way some women work.

I defenently think she likes u a lot and possibly luvs u but she is trying her best 2 b faithful. Keep doing wut ur doing and let her sort it all out and decide who she wants 2 b with. Try 2 b supportive and just close friends. This is very hard 4 her. Good Luck!

It sounds like she likes you, is afraid to leave her current relationship, but is seriously considering leaving her relationship to start one with you.
