So far the theory has not been tested in a lab and no one has ever "seen" a string. The theory also predicts the existence of multiple dimensions, eleven to be exact like you said. Could beings (e.g.angels or your Jesus example) then travel between dimensions to appear suddenly before our eyes? Funny how the Bible already described this thousands of years ago!
I embrace science. If it is accurate and true then it is from God. God is rational and scientific because He is the source of all reason and natural laws. I believe God created our universe in such a way that we could enjoy discovering how it works. In discovery we can further appreciate the beauty of Him and His creation. Part of this beauty just might be the string theory.

Einstein's theory of light is interesting also. If you were to leave the earth in a spaceship traveling at the speed of light for 15 days and turn around and return, taking another 15 days, 30 days would lapse in the spaceship but 30,000 years would lapse on the earth. Divide 30,000 by 30 = 1000. In one day would be equivalent to 1000 years.
(2Peter 3:8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Einstein went on to say that if one would brake the barrier of the speed of light it could only be described as eternity.

String theory falls apart on several issues so don't get too caught up in using it on any questions including theology.
Science is the study of what God created so anything that science is able to prove as fact and not theory tells us about how God set up the universe.

Shirley is off base as far as Christianity is concerned. Christ was physically resurrected in the same fashion Christ raised Lazarus.
John 20:25-27
25So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!"
But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."
26A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
But, to answer your question. I do not know how God did the things he did and he allowed his disciples to do as well. It is just as easy to say he phased through the wall that only exists as much as he " the creator" allows it to exist. Or that he stepped out of linear time and back in again. Or called Scotty in an alternate universe and was transported.

I suppose the theory could have some merit-I am not aware of any biblical scripture that would be in conflict.
Jesus said to the disciples:"In my Father's house are many "rooms"
I am going there to prepare a place for you".
The possiblility of a multi-dimensional interpretation is interesting.

Yes, people try to put limitations on God.
Who really knows what God is capable of doing or being.
God looks at time like a overhead view of a parade and sees the first float and the last band.

Paul spoke of being taken up to the third heaven. Enoch was said to ascend through seven heavens. There is some truth to String Theory, but there is also some distortion.

He had died, and now was a spirit person who has no flesh and blood body. He can form a body that looks like a man but really isn't. That is true it does say that. It also says we cannot see a spirit person, yet Jesus made himself visible to the apostles.

As much fun as it would be, I prefer to weigh in on things that are acutally proven and credible before seeing how they relate to my religious beliefs.
How do we relate the Bible to dimensions that we do not even know exist? Let's find them before we decide how they relate to our lives and beliefs.
