God can not be revengeful. The human value system is at times confused with that of God. He is absolute and hence, no value system except His laws which He has created as a sort of in-built engineering of the creation.
He is the Truth and Love incarnate. Please read Vedanta and many such answers already given by ancient Indian scholars.

Not 'revengeful' as that hints of getting back at someone for somethign they did.
Angry and jealous, yes, as its been demonstrated in The Bibles stories.
HE has made promises to those that keep HIS word true, and has also promised punishments for disobedience.
Whats more, I find it rather amusing when everyone clings to the belief that The GOD of Abraham Isaac Jacob and JESUS CHRIST is an absolute unconditional loving GOD, when that is far from the truth.
Anyone ever read the Old Testament?
It would appear not, if someone thinks GOD will love you unconditionally.
Throught the New Testament what is everyone repeating. Repent. Love GOD with all your heart mind and Soul BECAUSE HE has established HIMself as a very jealous GOD.
HE doesnt want anyone worshipping other 'gods', or doing as they please because they feel HE will forgive them nomatter what.
These people are deranged if they think GOD loves them unconditionally.
Yes HE sent HIS only begotten Son because HE loved us so, but never did HE say, never did JESUS teach of an unconditional love GOD will have for everyone.
Forgiveness yes, after you repent with your heart your sins against GOD. But never 'hey lets do everything we can and GOD will just forgive us'
amusing.
Very amusing

This is a leading question since you did not define your parameters. Many people reference vengeance in their answer. While it is true that the Lord did say that vengeance is His (Romans 12:19), we most not forget the difference between revenge and vengeance.
Revenge is relatiation for an offense
Vengeance is the delivery of punishment or retribution
What this means is that while the Lord will punish you for sin, He will not seek to "get back" at you.
While He is a vengeful God, He is thankfully not revengeful.

I believe that he is. I mean come on!! He got really pissed off at Eve because she ate an apple. So he inpregnated a young woman then torchered his kid just so he could...feel better...aww poor God!!! You know, some people say that God talked to them, God talked to Noah before he made the Ark! How come when other people that they are the chosen ones and that they can do anything because they're God's special gift, what the try to do either doesnt work, or just kills them!! So apparently God tricks people or at least lets people trick themselves into thinking a certain thing and that they can do certain things and it doesnt work. Dont ya think that's kinda mean of the old invisible man that created the universe?? They probably get their ideas from the bible, cuz the bible says that chosen people who pray to god can do these things and have all these powers! So they pray and pray and think they have talked to god. They try out their "special powers" and it turns out they're considered crazy. Maybe I'm jst being mean. But i DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS!!!! It makes no sense what so ever.
Ignore all that...i think he is cuz of all te other stuff "the most perfect man on Earth" ad done....according to the Bible

I sure hope not. I believe God is a chill spirit floating around in space somewhere just kicking it with some planets or something. I also believe God loves seeing life and likes people to be happy. I don't understand why the 3 major monotheistic religions of the world (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism), would worship a God whose revengeful, jellous, and has other negative qualities. If Gods such a mean thing, why did people begin worshipping God in the first place?

Revenge is opposite to love and God is love so how could he be revengeful if when we do something that is not right he is always willing to forgive us.

No God is not revengeful he is kind and caring and love everybody and you. If you ask this question because something bad happened to you it is not because of God the world is imperfect anyway, and is on its way to perfection so not everything is perfect including your life . So the answer is: GOD IS NOT VENGEFUL!

“I am the Lord your God. Worship no God but Me. Do not make for yourself images of anything in heavens or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it. Because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me, on their descendants, down to third and fourth generation.”
(Exodus 20:1-5)
If any one disgraces the AlMighty God by ascribing any partner, son or mate unto the Holy Lord then he will commit an unpardonable crime and will find no protecting friend or helper against God as there is no one who can save from Gods wrath.

No- He just made the laws of Nature to protect us. If one touches fire they get burned. He told us not to touch it. If one does they automatically get burned. The laws of nature are stringent and if one does not follow them they get the reaction in this life or the next. It is all just karma (what goes around comes around) It does not excuse one if they do not know. As the fire does not excuse the small child if they do not know it will burn. So one must know the laws and follow them if they do not want to get burned so to speak. Read the Bhagavad -Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- you then can see how loving and merciful God is ( not some fanatical fundamentalist type of God) It's the Hole Truth and nothing but the Truth So Help Me God
