I am thinking about being a foster parent. My grandparents did it and they raised three beautiful loving kids and ended up adopting one. These kids came from the really bad situations! But my grandparents loved them. I love kids and I'm not married right now and I am wanting your opinions... I live in IL. I do have a job but it is very flexible hours and part-time. The child would have it's own bed room. I was raised with eight brothers and sisters. I have practically raised my nephew so far who is three...please help. Also does anyone know where I might get more information on the internet maybe? Remember I live in IL. Thanks so much in advance for your help.

I actually would start off by calling your department for child services/child protective services/whatever it is refered to in your state.

Ask them about their program and also for the name of the private organizations that they place children with. There are some VERY SHADY foster organizations out there, and I would start off by talking with the organization that places children to get thier input.

In the majority of the states it is a requirment that you take a 10 week class to see if foster is a good fit. If you are at all interested I would recomend you take this class. there is no obligation normally and it gives the best detail.

nicely, that differs from place to place. some supply the food and components yet others dont. in basic terms ask the different volunteers or somebody which would know in the event that they grant the food for the doggies. i'm overjoyed to take heed to which you're keen to quickly homestead the doggies untill they hit upon a sparkling homestead. I try this besides and that i'm getting the climate for the doggies yet i many times purchase them different factor which includes toys that arent presented. it relatively is amazingly confusing although when you consider that is tricky to declare stable-bye to the doggies once you have frolicked with them. it relatively is deffinately well worth it although. wish that helped!!! :D
