They are only tax deductible if the organization is a charity recognized by the IRS.

If the contributions are made to the tax exempt charity than that income does not count towards taxable income.

Social clubs aren't 501(c)(3)'s so the answer is no.

Only if they have a 501C3 designation, which they probably don't.
