yes you can buy property in India , you have to be residing in India for at least six {6] months . But you can never buy any Farm/or agriculture land . Cantact any Reserve Bank of India branch, they will put you in picture . All best to you.

To Purchase Property in India You Should be an Indian Citizen. Just an origin is not enough. For example Sonia Gandhi is an italian bu tshe has got indian citizenship.

u can surely buy the property in India if u r of indian origin but the thing is u wanna buy it on ur own name or someoneelse's name u can buy it 4 sure if u r an N.R.I

The people that said no, do not know what they are talking about. I was born and bred in London (UK) and over here there are so many opportunities for people to purchase property in places like Goa and Bangalore.

dual citizenship is now possible you contact indian emassey for dual citizenship , & then you can invest in india .
