I'm Australian so work in metric... 10lbs is about 4kg. Generally it is only possible to lose 1kg a week if you want to lose fat. So maybe you can only lose 3kg in this time?

Go for a 45 minute jog at 60% of your maximum every day for those 20 days and you should be right.

If you just want to lose weight and not fat then go for a high protein diet and you shall lose at least 4kg of water in that time. But be warned this isn't actually a good idea and will have no long-term benefits.

Greetings

Assuming you have your best health in mind...

2 Months ago I determined I would clean up my body...detox. Shortly after I made that decision, I ran across a small, little known book called "The Master Cleanser".

I followed the recommended dietary regimen which, by the way, is sooo simple. 10 days later I was feeling like a million bucks and I was 10 pounds lighter. Perhaps this is your answer.

The Author of the book is Stanley Burroughs.

Easy, go to the gym and swim, run, or lift weights for 2 hours ever day of the week. It will be exhausting but you will shed more pounds or lose fat and gain muscles in less than 20 wks.

Cut out all red meat, dairy, processed sugar, caffeine and nightshades (tomatoes, eggplants, peppers) from your diet. Eat LOADS of leafy green vegetables, legumes, whole grains and lean proteins. Your energy levels will go up (so you'll feel more like exercising just for the fun of it) and you'll lose the ten pounds in less than twenty weeks!

Water!

Drink an 8 oz. glass of water before your meal, one during your meal and one after your meal for every meal. You'll be sure to get your recommended dose of water plus lose weight. The good thing about this is that you can eat anything and even eat dessert.

A serious answer:

Assuming your weight is stable now (not increasing), you need to create a 1500 calorie-per-week reduction from your current *net* caloric intake.

You can do this by reducing your total calorie intake by 1500 calories (call it 250 calories/day), or by increasing your exercise level by 1500 calories per week (again, call it 250 calories/day) or any combination of calorie intake reduction / exercise increase that adds up to 250 calories day.

That's half a pound a week! You got plenty of time...take it slow. Walk a little each day and cut out soda. Good luck!
