My Boston Terrier is so lazy when it comes to getting up in the morning that he pretends to be asleep. He sleeps under the covers, and after the alarm goes off and I get up, he starts snoring really loud. I got suspicious one day and pulled the blanket off him, and he was wide awake! He crawled back under the covers and started fake snoring again. I don't know what I would do without my mutts!

There's one thing one of my Westies does that never fails to have me in stitches. She's obsessive about her tennis ball and often carries it round with her.
Her brother has a favourite game outside that involves us using the old swingball pole to drag a ball along the ground for him to chase (like a cat in a way). For some reason this seems to annoy her big time - maybe because he's not allowed to play with a tennis ball, even if it is attached to a string. When we're playing she stands on the sidelines and barks and growls, but she won't let go of the tennis ball in her mouth to do this, so barks around it and shakes her head from sdie to side at the same time! Truly, you've never seen anything so hilarious!

My Bichonpoo is 4 months old she is at that awkward puppy stage she makes me laugh all the time. She climbs up on a box and then forgets how to get down. She drops a toy between the box and her pen and falls on her head trying to get it out. She is just so clumsy and awkward. She will run through the apartment playing with the cat and slide on the tile kitchen floor. She keeps me laughing all the time. I always keep an eye out to make sure she isn't hurt. She never is, just her pride.

Aww, how cute. My dog makes me laugh all the time. She's a really small Shih Tzu, and I swear she thinks she's a cat too. When she wants food she kneads her paws on your leg. Sometimes she gets real hyper and runs in circles. She's also scared of my rat.

How funny! Your going to have a fat little daschund from the sounds of it!
I have a small puppy (cross cavalier and poodle) and he thinks he's big and strong, we have a toy dog tha he sleeps with but I think he thinks its real. Its about 3 times the size of him and he ries to throw it up in the air and drags it around the backyard.....its such an easy way to forget about a hard day at work watching him be his natural self! Enjoy your dog!

Definitely. My 5 year old dog was brought up like the way you will raise a child. So now, she is afraid of other dogs. She feels comfortable with human but not with other dogs. So each time I brought her to a dog gathering, she will panic and needs to be carried. She is especially afraid of Golden Retriever. Haha

If his mouth is open and he looks to be giggling, and it is not scorching, then it should not be too tough to determine. You are not able to inform if a puppy is completely happy simply by a wagging tail. You will have to spend extra time studying puppy frame language. Then you would not be so harassed as to what your puppy is announcing. Perhaps that's why he's so nasty and competitive and peeing everywhere your condominium. You do not spend the time to comprehend him.

my dog goes crazy when you say you are going take a shower... like we have to spell it out now. She gets really excited, starts spinning in circles... then runs to where the shower is before you get there.. jumps on the door till you open it and then starts pulling at your pants.. she is crazy! lol
but it is too funny... the dog goes crazy when you say shower, but growls when you say bath? GO FIGURE!
