BEST!!!~ RIDES AND THE COOLNESS OF THE PLACE!!

WORST =( ~ WAITING IN LINE FOR THE RIDES AND THE EXPENSIVE PRICES ON SUVINEIRS AND FOOD!

Best things about Disneyland: The whole environment. It's just such a magical place to visit, even though I have been there (literally) hundreds of times. Walt envisioned a place where adults and kids can both have fun, and he really pulled it off. In addition to going with our kids, my wife and I go there for dates. (If you haven't guessed already, we're passholders).

Worst things: Lines, lines, lines. Which is why we got the passes in the first place. If it's crowded, we leave and come back another day. If that's not an option, you can still get the most out of your day:
-Arrive early, when the park opens. You can get a significant number of rides done within the first two hours of the park opening. Last Saturday, Dec 2, we got 8 in by 10 AM.
-Use FastPass early and often.
-The food is much better than back in the 70's and 80's, which seemed to be a low point. If the food isn't good, send it back. For the price you pay, it had better be good. We've had to do it once or twice, and didn't feel guilty at all when the food wasn't up to par.
-Call 714-781-DINE to make reservations for sit-down eating. We like to eat at the Carnation Cafe (which seems to be the most reasonable prices in the park), and Blue Bayou for special occasions.
-Visit mouseplanet.com for the latest info, including ride closures and deals. Visit disneyland.com/calendar to get the park hours, and parade and fireworks schedules.
-Buy your tickets in advance so that you won't have to wait in another line at Disneyland. You can order them from disneyland.com, or a number of other places online.

Have fun!

The best part is that it's the best theme park in the world (except for Disney World in Orlando). It really is a magical place, especially at Christmastime. The worst part is if you get there late and have to deal with long lines right off the bat. I would get there early (before the park opens) and plan on eating at off times - like eating lunch at 11am (also bring unopened bottled water & sneak granola bars in for snacks because the price of food is outrageous!) There are three rides that are so much fun - The Haunted House, Space Mountain, and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

The best is Pirates of the Caribbean and then eating at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. The worst is going on a busy day and having to deal w/ the throngs of people and waiting hours in line. One summer, we left after going on two rides.

The worst thing is standing in line for the rides. The best thing
is the Pirates of the Caribbean. There are so many other things tho. The other rides and things are great, and the food is good.

Best thing is living a fairytale.... worst part is that you're an easy target stuck in a palace run by a big evil mouse!

i is clean, charming, lots of fun the rides are a blast. The long lines can ruin your day. The food is way too expensive and at times not even good.

Worst: admission and food is very expensive these days.

Best: rides, having fun, souveniers, and leaving reality behind.

P.S. Wear good, "broken in" walking shoes and bring water bottles with you.

It can get VERY crowded, but that's what fast passes are for :)

Disneyland is AMAZING, though...the rides are so much fun!

The souviners are VERY expensive though...Don't spend too much!

The worst: Waiting in lines for hours (of course)...and the high price of crappy food.

Best: It's fun. That's all I can think of.
