I also love pet stores. The baby animals are adorable! Do you have a pet shelter nearby? You could take her there and inquire on what the animals need at this time of year and then you and she could discuss how you may be able to team together and get a "drive" going for the shelter. A VERY admirable cause...

It really depends on what your small town has to offer and what the weather is. Some other useful information would be some of the things that she likes and is interested in. Re-post the extra info and I will give you some good ideas. Here are a few that may work: Go out and walk around the park, if the weather permits, and just chat. You could also go to a movie or to a live band show, if your old enough and these are offered.
