that is really funny. here is a joke that is funny too about a chicken.
A chicken goes to the library and says to the worker, b-o-o-o-k. You want a book, so the worker (Sara) gives the chicken the book. The next day, the chicken comes back and says b-o-o-o-k. So Sara gives the chicken a book and the chicken leaves. The next day, the chicken says b-o-o-k b-o-o-o-o-k. So Sara gave the chicken a short book and a long book. The next day the chicken came back and Sara didn't know what this chicken was doing with all of these books, so after she gave him his books. She followed the chicken. They went down the street, up and over the bridge, over the swap and when she got over the swap, there was a frog there. The chicken gave the frog the book and the frog said r-e-a-d i-t.

I don't get it, so not funny. It doesn't fit well, because there was no real pun. The real chicken crossing the road joke makes more sense. Simple.
