All puppies teeth. Their teeth first need to fully come in then they will lose them so the adult teeth can come in. Same as humans. Get tons of chew toys and bones!

Yes they do. Chewing is also a great stress reliever for older dogs as well. They will start slowing there chewing down as their adult teeth come in, but even older dogs enjoy chewing.

If your puppy is chewing inappropriately, this is normal. Puppies aren't born knowing what they can and can't chew on. You need to teach them.

Get the puppy 3 or 4 toys. I like Kongs, and bully sticks to name a couple. To many toys can confuse a dog into thinking everything in reach is its toy.

When you see your puppy going for something it shouldn't, say NO in a firm tone. This should stop the puppy. Wait a couple of seconds and then offer one of the puppies toys. When the puppy takes the toy, praise it like its the best dog in the world. If you see your puppy chewing on one of its toys on its own, again praise it like its the best dog in the world. Sure the pup may stop chewing the toy when you do, be the puppy has just gotten the message that chewing on its toys are good.

Whenever your puppy can't be watched like a hawk it needs to be in its crate. This will help keep the puppy out of trouble, and help keep bad habits from forming as well.

Expect nonstop chewing, but since it's developing, that;s the WORST thing to do because it will change into a habit. Make sure you buy chewtoys,at least 3 good toys to give at the time just in case.If your dog chews on everything after a year, then you need pro help. Make sure it gets lots of attention, let it know what is good to chew or not, and just make sure it will grow up learning good habits. If it lost the two teeth from teething, then it's fine in the vague part, but check it's gums for anything weird. Make sure to BRUSH it's teeth with something at make sure the teeth grow back eventually. If not, then visit the vet. Until then, just try raising it well.

Yep puppies do go thru a teething stage. Just like kids, they loose their baby teeth, also called milk teeth, and then grow in adult teeth. You may not always see the teeth since sometimes they may swallow them. The only way I noticed my puppy and 3yr old(when she was a puppy), lost their teeth was when they started chewing on them. They may start to chew on things more often too so make sure you have lots of toys for them to chew on. If it seems to bother them, give them an ice cube to chew on. Puppies usually start to loose their teeth at about 4-5 months old.

Oh the joys of puppies teething. The teething process can be a "wonderful" time for the home owner. You the pet owner should take proper steps from keeping the pup chewing on things they should not. Not only is it upsetting to see your valuables chewed but it can also be hazardous for your pup, stomach lacerations, intestinal blockages. There are many things that you can buy for your pup, and it will take some time to find out what they like and his/or her chewing style is, i.e. Light, Medium, Power Chewers. I have a Pit and she's a Power Chewer. She can go through a Cow Thigh in a day.

All Puppies go though the teething stage.

oh boy do they. this is a very important stage in their life, because they will be putting their little baby needle teeth into EVERYTHING, including your fingers. it's not viciousness, it's playfulness and an attempt to relieve the discomfort caused by the adult teeth coming in. however, left unchecked, it can lead to very bad habits as an adult. puppies trying to bite you is cute. an adult dog trying to bite you is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

therefore, when puppies try to bite you, even in play, you have to stop them. don't punish them, because it's not their fault, but respond the way other puppies would, yell, "OW!" really loudly, or something similar. when playfighting, dogs will back off when another dog yelps in pain. this is how they learn to play nice. it's the same method.

when puppies teethe, it's very obvious. they become very mouthy, trying to eat socks when they're on your feet and tearing apart furniture. prevent this by providing lots of chewy toys and bones. and don't be freaked when your puppy's breath smells like blood and you find that their toys are all bloody. it's all natural.

Yes, they do go thru a teething stage, all dogs do. Also remember that even once they have their adult teeth in, that urge to chew will still be there because those adult teeth will be shifting into proper place within the jaw. This can go on until the age of 3 yrs for most dogs.

Puppies will start to lose their baby teeth and grow in adult teeth around six months old. They chew a lot during this time, so be ready to provide plenty of chew toys and, if you leave your puppy home alone at all, crate train. Here's a link:
