I think my chances with guys would be better if I was of average (5'4'') height. I'm thin and pretty, but the petite gals allways get the best looking guys.
How are other tall girls dealing with this? I allways wear flat shoes and slouch. Is there any style of clothing that makes you look shorter?

You must be out of your mind, girl. 5'7 is average, 5'4 is short.
If you must, you could make yourself look shorter with clothes. Avoid anything that is one long piece like overalls or petticoats. Wear clothes that is more that one piece visually. If you have long legs - wear capri lenght pants with nice sweaters. I never wear them beacuse I think I'm short enough already at 5'5. Slouching won't make you look shorter, it will make you look slouched.

Honey, by no means are you too tall. I am 5'8" and wear heels, have since I was 17 years old. Be proud of your height, stand straight....I became a model....Stop wearing flat shoes and do not slouch..be proud of your height!! Besides, you can get
reach higher than the girls born shorter!!!
Many men love women that are taller.
I loved the spike heels when they were in fashion. I do not like
the chunky kind..
Honestly, you are pretty and a bonus for being tall...actually 5 7 is not that tall..put heels on.....you will turn heads!!!!!

I'm 5'6" and 41 yrs old...never in all my adult life has my height been an issue when dating guys...and I often wear high heels...
Be proud of who you are and what you look like...you're likely to drive more guys off with the slouching and lack of self confidence, than due to your height...
The average guy is about 5'10" I think, so there are PLENTY that are taller than you...
Besides, it's not like you can shrink yourself...you are the height you are...might as well not be bugged by something you can't change...make the most of it!

I'm 5'7 not too tall I am slim but maybe the men you are dating are too short. I think it has to do with confidence obviously your not confident in your height dont get me wrong I had to build up my own confidence. You have people who are not happy with themselves casting negativitiy towards you, sometimes you cant help but be self-conscious about your height but too be honest with you if your were 5'4 you would wish you were taller god makes us how he wants us to be be confident in your self stand tall wear heals I do and unfortunately I dont have a shortage in getting good looking guys. Guys notice certain things and if you are slouched thats lack of confidence. No man wants a woman who needs to be consistently reassured of their true beauty.

Don't worry. I think it depends how old you are. Like if you are in the 7th even 8th grade then don't worry. Just be flirty and sweet. don't slouch then you look less confident. Trust me the boys will grow soon. No problem. Trust me if you are tall and skinny or thin. You will probably have long legs. Boys love that. Just be confident. Don't worry. I'm 5'6 and all you got to have is confident as long as you flaunt your best assets. You know;; eyes, hair, smile, legs. They will like you.

I am a 5'11 woman and I have a great looking guy - he says he likes that I'm tall because I 'fit' him better (he's 6'2).
I always wear flats too but NEVER slouch, it makes you look un-confident and almost neanderthal like!! I know its hard but try to ignore you height and everybody else will

I'm 5'11 and although I wear flats and sneakers because they're comfortable (I wear high heels on some occasions), I like my height and lots of guys like it, too.
Honestly, 5'7 isn't *that* tall; slouching makes you look insecure about yourself.. most men wouldn't find that appealing.

You are NOT too tall. There are PLENTY of guys looking for your heighth girl. Don't slouch. That makes you look bad. Be proud of your heighth. Don't worry about wearing heels or anyother type of shoe. Do you think basketball players go out with 5'4" girls. Hardly.

Girl I wish I was your height! (I'm 5'51/4") I would be strutting my stuff down the runway, like it's no body's business. Be happy what God blessed you with. I would love for a man to look up to me... You didn't mentioned your age, American Top Models (Tyra Banks) are looking specifically for girls your height, you need to sign up today. Besides, cutting your long legs off, I don't have any suggestions on how you can look shorter, please don't slouch, it's not lady like.

5 7 isnt too tall, u dont need to slouch, ur fine. too tall is like 6 ft or 6"1
