HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM???? I gave her a bath and they seemed to be all gone, put the flea collar on, washed all our blankets, shes only 4 months old, so its not like i can give her a bath every time she scratches. She is CONSTANTLY scratching, and I feel so bad, I dont know what to do!!! She wont have them after the bath, and the flea collar, and the powder, then she will start scratching agian in the morning. Does Frontline (from the vet)really work? Will it stop her from scratching, has any one else solved there problems with frontline?? and if so, after i have stoppped her from scratching, how do i get them out of the house, so she doesnt get them again?? Thanks For the great answers, in my other Q's People, its very appreciated!!

I used a flea collar and I also flaked it (if you squeeze the flea collar, dust comes out) over a flea infested sofa. Problem solved but I had to throw out the sofa, allergies.

you are infested get flea drops from the vet. revolution. kills the eggs and the fleas. quit the flea collars they only work around the neck and the fleas move on down. yorkies have skin problems and allergies alot of times anyway.you cannot use fleasprays and dips and flea drops at the same time. to many chemicals. so go to the vet with age and weight of puppy. you can wash all the bedding and spray your self but dont spray dog if using drops. if you have loads of fleas u probably have sand fleas and will have to get an exterminater to take care of them for you.also you have to be faithfull on using the flea drops each month to break the flea cycle one month and stopping wont do it. after all this get the dog wormed for tapeworm as the flea causes them. if you have a cat treat her also with revolution cat drops at the same time

Yes, you need to get Frontline or Advantage for her. Flea collars don't work very well compared to the topicals. And you need to treat your house with Knockout or Adam's Flea Spray. You can get those, or something similar, at your local vet's office.

You should do some research on both breeds and go visit a Chihuahua breeder and a Yorkie Breeder and visit for a while and see if you could handle the breed you choose and also to make sure of the temperment of the breed, that you understand her or his needs. Then enjoy your pup.

i would suggest advantige from your vet-it works great-yr dog may be scratching due to it's skin being so dried out from the shampooing-you can get a powder for your home it's called flea stoppers, from yr vet-it's expensive but it works-the fleas will be still living in yr carpets, furniture, and mattresses-so the powder will get rid of it-you only need it 1ce a yr and it's guarenteed to work-so go to your vet and get some,i promise you will be satisified-OH FOR THE SCRATCHING get some cortizone spray for dogs-it will work....u can get from walmart, or any local store w/pet supplies...

Use Front line flea treatment , then you may have to treat your house , flea eggs hatch out after a amount of time.

oh please get that flea coller off right away. the chemicals in it can eat away at your pets skin. her neck will be raw and itchy.

They also dont do very much. its pretty much only stops the fleas from reaching your dogs head

you can try tea tree oil shampoo. i used to use it in grooming. and on my neice when she got lice.

to get them out of your hose wash EVERYTHING. and vacuum atLEAST once a day for the next few weeks.

i think you should consult yor vet about using chemicals on a puppy so young.

Fleas dont only live on the dog and just on the things the dog lays on they live on carpets apolstry and such. So you would not only have to wash the dog and what its sleep/lays.sits on but sanatizing/vaccuming any furnature and carpets. Also any clothing or blankets that have been on the floor.
