I'm about 5'10 (this is rather tall but in comparison with most boys, it feels average), but feel uncomfortable whenever I'm around taller people, boys or girls (especially girls). What can I do to get over this shortness syndrome? No one ever seems to judge me for height but i feel uncomfortable sometimes because I feel like they will (especially girls my height who might pass me over for someone taller). What can I do to overcome this "shortness syndrome"?

It isn't just a short problem from your description. Why are you really uncomfortable? Sounds like you aren't really sure of who you are as a person yet. If you work on that all the other things will fall away bit by bit. Don't focus on physical things as much as you do on what kind of person you are and how you treat and view others and even if someone doesn't like you for your heighth or lack of it remember that's a very selfish and shallow individual and your better off without them in your life.
You are always going to be taller or shorter than others not a thing you can do about it. Don't let yourself be one of the vain "it's all about me" creeps. Before long that's all they got...themselves.

True in general woman like men that are taller then they are. But at 5'10 I dont think you really have anything to worry about. If a girl passes you over just based on your height she's not worth your time. And just so you feel better Im only 5'2 and Ive had men pass me over because Im "to tiny"

Dude 5'10" isn't short, unless you go to a school where the average height if 6 foot.

"Taller girls are more willing to date shorter guys because they don't have to feel protected. The short girls want big dudes."

I think this is true. I see girls at my school all the time who date short guys. There is this one dude who is like 5'3" and he's dating a chick who is 5'7" or 5'8".

Everyone's gonna say "I'm 5' 6" and get laid on a daily basis by supermodels."

(I am five six, and while I don't get laid on a daily basis or by supermodels I have better luck than some. So it is possible, have confidence.)

honestly your not that short. i am a senior in highschool, and i am only 5'3. my advice, do something people don't normally do at your height. in my case i played football. i was on my highschools varsity team for 2 years, because i just didn't listen to what other people said about my height. you just have to ignore negativity and accept your height. your really not that short. the next time you feel short just be glad your not 5'3.

All the part of growing is learning to love your self or how God made you. Learn to appreicate what you have. You could be like some and not have any leggs at all. Just amagine how bad that would be. Then maby you will feel better.

Simple, give yourself credit for being you. If tall women bother you then look for those that are average. Good luck.
