How much pain and how long ago was it removed?
What pain meds were you told to take? Your parents should know.

The human body is remarkable. Pain is the body's way of telling you there is a problem.
After surgery, it is normal to have some residual pain. Depending on how long ago you had your surgery, as well as the amount of activity you do daily, can affect the body's healing ability.
You should have your parent call the Dr & report the pain. Tell him/her exactly where the pain is, is it a sharp pain or a dull, achey pain, does it come & go, how long does it last? or is it a constant. The more specific you can be, the better the Dr can decipher the cause of your pain.
In the mean time, use Ibuprofen (Aleve, Advil) as directed. Take it easy & give your body time to heal. If you have a special diet, follow it. A little R & R may be all you need. I assume you have a follow-up appointment (usually 4 - 6 wks). The Dr may want to see you sooner if you get no relief with pain medication & rest.

How did they remove it? Was it the microscopic kind where they do the 3 holes and a camera? Usually the pain from that type of surgery disappears in 24 to 48 hours, I was back at work 3 days after having mine out so you really should get back to your doctor. If you did have that type of surgery did you do as they told you and spend the day coughing to get rid of the gas they fill you with? I know its pain full but you gotta do it.
And now for a bit of info they don't always tell you, I had mine done 7 years ago and from time to time I still have phantom gall bladder attacks :( BUT SEE A DOC!!!

They didn't send you home with pain meds?
If not, get your parents to call the Dr's office and have them call a prescription for pain meds into the pharmacy for you.
In the mean time, if you're not taking anything else, you can try some Advil or Tylenol.

See your doctor...but don't panic. Pain after a procedure like that is not unheard of...the body needs to heal.

Tell your mommy and go to the doctor...DUH!!
Or you can do what I do and stick your finger in an electrical socket while drinking drain-o and hopping on one foot (the left one) and you should feel better in no time.
Seriously, go to the doctor.
