I bought some really expensive software that I regret buying. I can return it within 30 days to get my money back. I need to give them a good reason. What is a good reason to return the software?

tell them it does not meet your requirements for such an expensive item

say them the exact reasons why you regret buying it.
Did it not satisfy what you intended it to do ?
Did it affect your system in any way ? Does other important software on your machine can not work with this one working ?

Just tell them the software doesn't do what you wanted it to do and buying it was a mistake. Either that or you just tell them the truth.
