my dad ( i have a dad and a mom im 11) yells all day becuz he bets for a living, whenever he looses a bet he gts stressed and angry and he bets like al the time. u cant ecape his yelling, put on hedfones or loud music it dont work. my mom wil say "please be quite" buth se wont do more than that cuz its no use.she wont divorce him or do marriage counseling or anything like that cuz a. he is to stubborn to listen and b. they say they have no time for anything but work and errands and paperworks and stuff. he wont take an anger management class, there is no time. he dont care how i feel about it or iif i wake up at 1 am or if im doing my homework or i he embareses me in front of myfrines, if he is stresed he has a rite to yell, he thinks. family therapy or anything like that has never helped him stop yellng al the time. he upsets me with it. also, family therpy and things like that wont stop him from critsizing my every move. ive told him how i feel and theres been therapy etc he jus

he has no hi skool education, no other job will make enuf $ to support a family and my mom has no hi skool edu either

Hi My name is Ashley and I know who you feel My mom and dad use to do that when i was your age I'm (19) and My dad was the same way he always yelled at my mom and they never had time for me and make me look so stupid in front of my friends all the time and they would not go to marriage counseling or Therapy They yelled and yelled at each other and finally I got tried of it and i called my aunt and i moved in with her
My advice to you is just sit them both down and tell them how you feel and if you already did that and if it did not work then just tell them that they are the parents and you are the child and they need to start acting like it

Im really sorry it is sad when u think no one cares and I know how u feel just u do good in school and try your best he may not care about u but I am sure that there r people that care and love u I care about u and i dont know u I know how hard it is its sad to have to see someone u love gp through what he is going through I can't do anything unless he hits u

Bless you child. I can only suggest that you talk to an adult you can trust about how this upsets you. Your to young and need to enjoy your youth. Find some help.
