No, God had nothing to do with that; you and your boyfriend both have freewill. It would take the desire to be a couple by both of you to make the relationship work. You best attend services, read the bible - get your faith back. God Bless.
The death of a child shook my faith - but there was no where else to turn; the only one to depend on at that point was the Lord. Thus, prayer and services was the response which increased my faith from that time on. You will also learn and understand as you become more mature.

God kept you apart? That's a pretty heavy accusation. Why would he do such a thing? Is it because he saw into his soul a noticed that he would put you through hell?
Or, did you do something that sent him away from you and it's easier to blame God then accept responsibility yourself?
I wasn't there, I don't know. But lately, all the things in the world have been " God's Fault " and all the good things have been "man's doing."
Accept it, move on. Best wishes.

Well you for one assume that love deems marriage as a good thing. That is not necessarily true. Sometimes marriage can be the ruin of two people's fraternal love toward one another.
The only thing would be if He did not fulfill one of the promises He has made, but that would probably mean I simply misinterpreted them and should take a closer look. Many people made the same mistake with Jesus.

I think personal events like that are difficult. I have been through a few events that shook me up, very much like yours. Ultimately, I believe faith is a gift and God calls us closer, even when we are confused. So I have found faith to be present, underneath my doubts.

Absolutely nothing could shake my faith in God.
Maybe "the one you loved most" was not the right one for you. God knows what is best for us, even when we do not.

Sometimes, God blocks things for a reason.
Trust that God knows best.
What looks like love, can sometimes be lust.
Love last,lust burns out.
God operates in Love.
Trust that He loves you so much,He did what was right for you.

You are right to trust Him even though your faith has been tested. I treasure my faith greatly, but am very aware that it is only by God's grace that I can hold unto it. One of the biggest dangers to a persons faith is the danger of yielding to sin.

I do not know. He has always been my bestest friend, even above my husband and children and parents. I am me. No one else is me. I decide to love or to hate. Nobody else. I am the one who speaks or remains silent. No one else. As for God and Jesus, His love is constant, like the warmth of the sun in the summer. I remember it, even during winter.

If you are a true Christian then nothing should be able to shake your faith in God, nothing should make you question Him.

Well, in my case you could just as well ask me what could convince me to eat my children! Nothing could shake my faith in Him. He's the one that keeps me.
