Caitlin, I hear you girl, loud & clear, I'm 5'8 & I've always had short friends, & they always made me feel like I was some kind of alien. I have a short friend right now & she's always boasting about herself. but its definitely a JEALOUSY thing, because the other day, I heard her say she wished she was tall. I don't let that get to me anymore, because they will never look like elegant graceful models, like you & I, with long torsos & super long legs! We're very hott & more easily noticed, we stand out in the croud, so they have to compensate with their mouth & big egos to get noticed.

hey girl, I'm 5'1'' 21 yrs old. Actually i have always loved my height. Never had a problem with it b/c I usually wear 4 inch heals when I go out and the only reason I wouldnt want to be tall is b/c I wouldnt be able to wear the 4 inch heals. But that's how i see it. There is absolutly nothing wrong w/ being 5'7''. That is still beatiful. Yeah probably some girls might be jealous I don't know. 5'7'' is not manly. Look at the Victoria Secret models. They are soooooo tall. Ex: Tyra Banks is taller than 5'7" and she's not looked upon as a manly person. Height does not matter. You just dress up and look good and everything fits perfectly. If someone says something about that you need to just keep your head up and FEEL PROUD. :)

The perception of superiority or inferiority is subjective. It has to do with each individual's existence studies, very own association, values, satisfaction, ego, self admire, self assurance, and so on. (i'm confident I’m leaving out another psychological variable). whether your observations have yielded tall females appearing as though they are greater efficient than short females, it fairly has no longer something to do with top. There are short females that are crammed with it purely like the tall ones which you're relating. regrettably, you will finally are available touch with them too. people who have those subject concerns sense the could discover some thing primitively diverse approximately people who they are threatened with the aid of and poke at it, as though it relatively is fairly that significant. those comparable persons are very insecure approximately their very own attributes. because of this lack of self assurance, they publicly boast approximately themselves to feed their ego and belittle somebody else to direct destructive interest someplace else. Their best concern is being the sufferer of a matching embarrassment. you're good. there is unquestionably no longer something incorrect with being short ... or notwithstanding top. and each guy has a sprint diverse selection for a girl's actual attributes. some men have an excellent decision of selection on a similar time as others are a lot greater specific. submit to in innovations that throughout the time of the process existence (relatively once you get out of school) you elect who you dangle around. regrettably, there'll continually be a discomfort among each crowd. attempt to avert them, yet don't be afraid to stand up for your self in case you may.

I am 5'2" and I do not think I am any better than the next person. However, I am very happy with my height and I do think that short people, man or female are extremely cute. That is just my opinion. Plus ,I get lots of help getting things down that are too high for me to reach and I like that attention. Tall is not manly to me. My whole family is tall. But I have noticed that a tall woman, short man couple do not look that good, per say. Whereas, a short woman can stand next to short or tall and still look alright.

I'm average height (5'7"ish) at age 20.
I have NEVER thought I was any worse or better than others based on height. I don't think taller girls are manly, I don't think shorter girls are always feminine. If you are worried about your image, try wearing more fitting clothing and something more feminine. Don't worry about what others have to say, you're young and there are more important things in life than height.

I think that BS you are hearing from some girls stems from insecurity.
Personally, I am fairly short, 5'4", and I don't think any of my tall girlfreinds are manly looking.
I also found that tall girls thought they were "better than" short girls when I was your age. I think it's an age old stupidity that puts women who are a bit different against eachother and it's daft and exceptionally childish.
It's simply another form of prejudice. If you don't like someone because they are different, then you are prejudiced, whether it's height, weight, skin colour...
Female bodybuilders take steroids and work out for up to 5 hours a day to look manly, and they like that look. There are men who like that! Who cares what some other girl thinks, you know you are not manly looking, don't you? Look in the mirror, girl, if " the comment": isn't true regarding you, repeat the following mantra: "So what! Who cares about, what so and so thinks, I am beautiful, and I am letting go of her comment." Repeat many times while standing in front of the mirror until you beleive it!
I don't consider myself short. My second suggestion is to refrain from judging people by their height, so people don't judge you by yours as much. What you throw out there in the universe has a tendency to come right back to you.
The only person anyone should be judging is their own self. We are all unique women, and when you are young you are trying to figure out who that woman is. While you're learning who you are, don't let others squash your spirit, or waste your time in negativity! There's enough of that out there, don't invite it to your doorstep.
Find out who you are that makes you important to those in your life, that's sooooo much more important than height and weight!
There are men who like tall women, petite women and everything in between, and women of all weights, so I ask you why do you care what some silly chicks are saying? Why let it influence your sense of self?
Finally ask yourself the following question regardingthe sill comment(s) Is there any real competition going on here? Should I be wasting precious time worrying about this? NOOOOOOOO!
The same men will not like the same women, simple, there's chemistry, body types and personalities that we are all drawn to.
Blessings,
Rani

girl,I'm 5'8,all my life I've been skinny, cheerful, always ready to do everything for my friends....and i have a lot problem with women....why?? because most of women are jealous on tall girls, and if they r funny ones they hate them even more! I'm happy because of that, that is a great experience because jealous girls are ready to do everything to beat you in every single look and after that u learn a lot of tricks so in future u r able to recognize that type of women.just be good with boys because they r better friends than girls,i say that to you because i have a lot of boyfriends and my boyfriend who love me....but just one girlfriend that I know since birth(but she is also ready to do tricky things to be in center of attention but I've learned tricks so when I see that he want to do something to me I say to her what is my opinion and everything ends good)
i hope that u understood me
kisses

sweetheart, how far is cute gona get them. im 5'9. i was 5'7 in grade 7 and i kept growing bit by bit. im not extremly tall, but tall enough to hear the cute bit. BUT, let me tell you, clothes look better on us, heals look better on us. we stand out, we have long legs and long cores. Pure jealousy. the fact that they have to say, or point out that they're "cute", or tell you your ugly and manly is just a way to make themselves feel better. just laugh in their faces, proudly wear those heals, and try not to step on them while you strut past. :)
