Im 18 and I was told that I had a breast infection, because I had a swollen left breast nipple and it was red and warm to the touch and sore..I was given Antibiotics and told if it doesnt get better that is when to come back to the doctor and that is the time to worry...Well two weeks on antibiotics did nothing,So the doctors think I have a rare form of breast cancer Called Iflammatory Breast Cancer also known as I.B.C..Very few women know about it untill it is too late because, you do not have to have a lump to have this from of cancer....I just wanted to let other women know about this aggressive form of cancer....Sometimes with cancer I do feel like im alone because I am so young...dont ever think you are too young for breast cancer!!

I am a breast cancer survivor for almost 7 years now . I am sorry to hear that you are going through this . I was diagnosed @ 29. My cousin was diagnosed with IBC the same year I was diagnosed and she is doing well . Just try your best to stay positive and make sure you are getting the treatment that you need , I also suggest that you visit youngsurvivalcoalition.com
There is alot of support and information about breast cancer . You can feel free to ask fellow survivors questions as well . God Bless You !

Big hugs to you. I am a six year breast cancer survivor. IBC is very rare as you say and very hard to diagnose. Here are some links I found very helpful. www.webmd.com. www.y-me.org.www.nih.org. www.mayoclinic.org. www.cancer.ca.
