This juicer works well and makes REALLY tasty juice. However...I was really surprised about how much of the fruit ends up in the cup in the back of the juicer, on the blade and not in the juice. It seems to take a lot of the fiber out of the fruit. The commercial shows just one place the dried stuff comes out and they pour it on a paper towel to show how dry it is. Yes, it's dry, but it's A LOT! I haven't tried it, but the one Montel Williams advertises looks to me to be a better choice because it keeps the entire piece of fruit which would be healthier. In summary: I have tried the Jack LaLanne juicer. Works well but lots of waste. Have not tried the Montel Williams blender thing, but it just looks better to me than what I have seen with Jack LaLanne Juicer. If you want to buy a used Juicer of Jack LaLanne's I will sell you mine so I can buy the other one. Hope this helps.

Oh! not Jack's juicers - they're okay but doesn't seemed to lasts long. Motor are always burnt.
Try a Breville, Omega or Champion instead. They are better machines. No doubt about it.
If money is an issue, go for the Lequip. It's smaller but better than Jack's.

The best rated juicer out there is the:
Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL
It is about $300.
Personally I own the Waring Health Juice Extractor JEX328
Cost is about $70 and I have never had any problems.

yes, I have a few different juicers, and the best one I own is not the jack lalaine one, its the Breville JE900 Juice Fountain Professional Juice Extractor. I bought mine on amazon but I am pretty sure you could find it at target. The rinds from the citrus fruits get stuck in the lalaine, whereas the breville doesn't have that problem.

No the juicer is not as good as it is made out to be. Argos do a Homeworks one that is very efficient and takes the whole fruit - its about £30,

Yea, I have one of those noisy gadgets. Or at least I think,it's that brand. Just not sure where it is. It makes great carrot juice, apple juice and orange juice. It's easy to unassemble, clean and reassemble. I miss carrot juice so much, that soon as I find that machine, I'm going to use it.
You woulnd't happen to know, where I can find a "Mr. Cocoa"
hot chocoate maker, would you? I seem to have misplaced mine, and I can't find one anywhere, so far.
