Ok, all u guys have a religion? good. lets begin. There are three so called great religions- Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Judaism began in 1800 BCE. Christianity began in 1 CE and Islam in 622 CE. Making Judaism the oldest religion, 1,800 years older than Christianity and 2,400 years older than Islam. Christianity is the second oldest, 622 years older than Islam. Islam is the youngest religion. Now you all know the claim Judaism has on Jerusalem and Christianity's (Jesus was after all a Jew originally) but what about Islam's claim? Why do we have to suffer because the Muslims are greedy enough to want 3 holy cities? Christians have a holy city, Rome for Catholics, and more for non-catholics, and Jews have one city- Jerusalem, but why should Muslims have it all Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem) when they were the latest religion to turn up on the scene?

Because their greed will not stop until they own everything and everyone, even if it takes attrition to accomplish their goals.

Christianity is a continuation of Judaism...a derivitive. We call it the Judeo-Christian religion. We did not invent ourselves. Rome is a holy city, true. But the Muslims took over Constantinople years ago, which would have been equivelant to Rome, except the Eastern Side. <<<
The Early Church had 5 Cities where the church was the head. Jerusalem, Antioch, Constantinople, Alexandria and Rome.

I don't know why the Muslims would want to take over cities, but they did. A result of the 4th Crusade was the sacking of Constantinople, which lowered the Eastern Orthodox's defences so much, they were easily overpowered by the Muslims. Eastern Orthodox could not understand why those that called themselves Christians, the Romans, could profoundly desecrate altars, and terribly hurt women and children. A city was seiged, and many things were robbed from the Eastern Orthodox.

Christianity is just as old as Judaism, because we come from Judaism. If you went to an Eastern Orthodox Liturgy you could see that continuation in the services. We reflect the old Temple worship and the Synogogue worship. The liturgy was made when both Synogogue and Temple worship was in existance.

Jerusalem was sacked by the Romans, in AD 70. They were destroyed. Those that were left, ended up staying. Eastern Orthodox Christians, those who were derived from the Jews, stayed on. Much of the land was deeded to the Church over time, and many Christians stayed in the land. We have a claim on Jerusalem also. And it is the city where Jesus Christ is coming back to.

To answer, they can live in cities also. I don't think they are greedy. They just think they are right.

Mankind simply thinks and acts like capitalists do. Here's a captialist example: the car rental company that does not rent as many cars as the leading car rental company "tries harder". Because Islam is a "runner up" religion due to it being a younger religion, its leaders, or at least its fanantics and extremists "try harder" to convert more and more of the world to Islam. For some Islamic fanatics and extremists, their tool is terrorism. Whoever has the fix for human nature gets the big prize.

First point, Hinduism is the oldest religion. =)

I agree with you, Jews have been there longer. But Natives were in America long before, no one cared the least bit about them.

Britian empire pretty much ruled the globe. Not anymore. Genghis Khan ruled most of the eastern world for quite a time.

Point is, enviornment changes, condition changes and circumstances change. And we can't keep looking back and holding grudges because of the past. We need to look into the future and have a workable solution for this.

Now, I am against Israel's illegal occupation of West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and the Golan Heights. It was illegal, and is illegal and will be illegal. A lot of the Christians in Lebanon and Palestine agree that Israel is not being just. So it doesn't really have to do with religion anymore at this point.

It really has to do with loss of innocent lives.

That's a really good point! I think it's because the devil is Islamic and trying to take over the whole world! LOL I'm just kidding but honestly I don't have a clue! You just gotta have faith in GOD and not let things like that concern you! No one is more powerful than God even if it seems like it sometimes!

Muslims are still fighting for the primogeniture, Ishmael did not receive anything from his father Abraham, Isaac received it all.

Allah or Jesus?

By Rick Mathes
Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths who explained their belief systems. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say.
The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn I directed my question to the Imam and asked: Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world. And, that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"
There was no disagreement with my statements and without hesitation he replied, "Non-believers!"
I responded, So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to heaven. Is that correct? The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, Yes.
I then stated, Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Pat Robertson or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to heaven! The Imam was speechless.
I continued, I also have problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question-would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and wants you to be with me? You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.
Chuck Colson once told me something that has sustained me these 20 years of prison ministry. He said to me, Rick, remember that the truth will prevail. And it will!
Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!

I believe that we have a misunderstanding about the purpose of the church and what God's love and Jesus Sacrifice is. We are leaning more towards Ideology of what certain group of people think God is, in other word, they are trying to convince others to follow their own way of understanding God and create in the process certain rules and traditions that lead to misunderstanding and discord. salvation is important because It is not about Religion. Religion cannot save but Christ can, when he died to save us from damnation. That is what we should be more concern about our soul and eternity. There is no such things as the best religion because religion don't save but Christ does. So It is really all about Christ. it does not matter who was there first because it won't serve us any good in the days of judgment.

Read up on The Dome of The Rock.... the mosque where the prophet went up to heaven. This was built on the same site where Solomon's temple once stood, and where Abraham was going to sacrifice a son, Isaac if you are Jewish or Christian, and Ishmael if you are a Muslim.

You don't understand Islamic reasoning. They don't care about that. That doesn't concern them. The only thing that does is what they want. Everyone else is put here to take care of them.
If an American dies that is just, don't worry it was only an American. When one of them dies it is a catastrophe. Morning and he is in heaven with his virgins and on and on.
All USA soldiers go to hell anyway, even if they die to protect them. It is what God wants them to do. That is what the others are here for. They don't sit down and say those are people with feelings and maybe we should consider there wants and needs.
To them everyone else is dead man walking. They firmly believe that one day the whole world will be Muslim and any who doesn't convert dies and goes to hell to continue the suffering.
You have to understand their thinking to know why they do certain things.

Well in the end nobody is going to have anything, it will all be gone, everything, heaven and earth will be destroyed and the new heaven will come down to earth and God will be with His people once again. The only ones to be there are the ones God chooses. and all who deny Christ as their Savior can be in the same old eternal damnation.
