im going to a party tonight and not going to no many ppl there and im wondering what a good conversation starter is so that i can talk to ppl... as i am very shy... any ideas?

eg: where did you get those shoes.. Have you been to xxx.. Do you like to shop? Follow up with follow up questions eg:
Wow today was just crazy...
you: - say what was so crazy about your day?
then converstaitons will just keep going!
just ask questions!
