yes sex isn't everything, but if 2 people share the same feelings it is something special...............i'm an old guy and i did enjoy it when things were right...........i broke my neck in a mnt. bike accident a couple years ago..........it pinched my spinal cord and it left it damaged..........because of it i cant enjoy it anymore along with other problems.......so i see what i had and now i can't...all i can say is if you people are normal you need to find a way to share your feelings with someone because life is short and the gift of sharing it could come to an end at any moment.........

I think sex can be a barometer as far as the relationship goes. Sometimes it just tells us how well everything else is going in the union.
Sometimes we find people who just like sex for sex' sake. Those who can take or leave a relationship and may only put up with one because it includes the physical.
Then there are those who put up with the physical to get the relationship.
And there are those who want neither or who are very much in love but don't have a need to physically express it.
If you are looking for a personal opinion, I want both. I want a deep personal connection and a relationship that is very physical. Very privately physical (I don't go for public displays of affection that include people fastened to one another like dogs in heat) with a lot of intimacy and frequent "get togethers".
But there was a time in my life when I could've cared less so I understand the other side too. And I respect that opinion. And I believe (and know first hand) that a good relationship can survive it.
There are all kinds out there. Somebody for everybody, so yeah, it's not only possible but quite true. And I would say a good thing. Someone has to have their minds on the store if ya know what I mean.

Well its been a while and I am practically thriving without it...of course you can live without it, but not if you are in a relationship...if that were the case, all the time...But clearly since you are asking this it is possible to just not be interested...
Do yourself a favor though, I have heard this happening, if you arent really into it, dont act like some nympho for a guy early on cos he will wonder where his little freak went to when you dont ever want to do it anymore a year into things...

Anybody can live without sex...it's a mind-over-matter thing.
It's like fatty foods...they taste REAL good, and we often have cravings for them. If we're used to eating them, it takes time to "wean" ourselves from them...but once we do it, we're okay if it comes around.
It's the same with sex.
No, it's not the most important thing in a relationship, but if you're in a REAL-relationship, it is an important part. Just don't rush anything...trust me, you won't find love lookin' in sex right now.

I think it is very possible for women or men to not like sex. Some women have physical problems, down there, that prevents them from having sex because it hurts. It just might be a hormonal inbalance. Good luck!

i've lived without it all my life, so, yes, i supposed i can live without it..
but that doesn't mean i enjoy not having it.
human beings, by nature, crave sex.. if you don't crave it, then you may have hormonal problems.. a doctor could advise you how to fix that.
could be you like sex, but just don't have a guy in your life who you are ready for sex with..
my problem.. i want sex, but i want it in the context of love.. nothing casual.. i won't do it until i am ready.. but it's certainly frustrating at times.
