What is Ringworm?
Ringworm is a contagious fungus infection that can affect the scalp, the body (particularly the groin), the feet, and the nails. Despite its name, it has nothing to do with worms. Ringworm of the scalp
Ringworm of the body
Ringworm of the foot (athlete's foot)
Ringworm of the nails
Where is Ringworm found?
Ringworm is widespread around the world and in the United States. The fungus that causes scalp Ringworm lives in humans and animals. The fungus that causes Ringworm of the body lives in humans, animals, and soil. The fungi that cause Ringworm of the foot and Ringworm of the nails live only in humans.

Ringworm is a contagious fungus infection. You cannot die from it. It isn't actually worms. It's called ringworm because the infection looks like a red ring (or donut shape) on a person's skin.
Depending on where it's located, you can treat it with over the counter medication. If it's on your skin, such as on your feet or other parts of your body, you can buy a tube of lotrimin or another such anti-fungal and apply it as directed. If the fungus is under your nails, or if you have ringworm on your scalp, you'll need a prescription for oral medication.
It will not go away without medication, and will spread if not treated. You will not die or become ill from it. If you have ringworm of your skin, be sure to use a clean bath towel every day until the skin clears up, or you'll risk re-infecting yourself. Try not to scratch it, and wash your hand after you've touched it.

Get some athlete's foot cream. It will treat the ringworm. You will live to complain about life another day. Being a teen is really tough. Someday you will look back at these days with fondness. Really you will. And your life will be good. Believe it or not, you might even come to love dogs. Smile today and find a way to have some joy. Life is good.

I don't think you got ringworm from dog pee. ringworm is contagious and I know you can get it from animals but I don't think from dog pee! You say you are going to school so I guess moving out is not an option for you. Obviously the dogs are not yours so you don't have the right to get rid of them. I would suggest talking to your mom and stepdad and seeing if something can't be worked out with the dogs so that everyone living in the house can live with the tight living quarters and overcrowding situation. Good luck and get some antifungal ointment for your ringworm if you haven't already.
