Big 5 always has good prices. Check out Marlin lever actions in 357 mag, 44 mag and 30-30. Also check out the Stevens 200 in .243 and 7mm-08. They recently had a scoped Remington 710 for $399. Still too pricy? Check out used guns at your local gun shop.
