Leviticus 11:9 - 12:
These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Its a wonderful religion and Jesus is a wonderful Savior. We don't live according to the OT laws, Jesus has set us free and we live under His grace. So quoting Leviticus is not where we are at. Leviticus shows us the foreshadowing of the coming Messiah. All the sacrifices were talking about the sacrifice that Jesus would be in the future. You don't seem to have understanding of the Christian faith.

well if you read the book of Acts, God says that all food is good and we are allowed to eat it. before ever reading the bible believed that the bible was full of mistakes and was meaningless. but after spending years of reading it find how well It meshes together ( the old and new testament) . matter fact some times become so shocked that find a little sentence is a prophecy that Jesus fulfilled.

Christians like to disregard the Mosaic Law set down in the Old Testament, since the consensus seems to be that Jesus abolished it upon his arrival.

Christians are not ignorant. That is part of the old law. Research before you make a fool of yourself.

Could you generalize any more than that? Typical non-believer hate spew...keep the verses in context, divide the old & new testament, go to church for interpretation and do your research. If you do all this, you understand it.

That's part of an old law. It was done away with when Christ came back. Nice try though.
