Well I like this boy, and I've liked him for along time. I like him a-lot. I think he likes me but I'm not sure cause we don't talk, he goes on my bus in the morning. I think he likes my x-bestfriend. I really need help.

Well just be yourself. I know it's a typical answer but trust me if you want someone to love you for who you really are just be yourself.
And since looks DO matter at least a little bit, I'd suggest you might wanna put up your hair or straighten/curl it. And make up helps with that, too. (But don't overdo it! He might think you're spoiled or needy.)
And if I were you I'd talk to him! Guys don't just walk up to girls they don't talk to and ask them out. Or not very often.
In your case if he likes your best friend talk to her about it. Tell her how you feel. Believe me it feels great when your best friend knows these things. And if he starts going out with her there will always be other guys!
But since right now he is single and you're single sit next to him on the bus and get to know each other.

Well try sending mixed messages like saying Hi or starting a conversation with him then take it from there.
saying hi is the best way to start.

well next time u get on the bus, seat next to him and say hi OR SOMETHINg. good luck talk to him about anything if he rejects u, oh well u wont be the first or last. so good luck =)

If he WANTS to ask you out he will if he doesn't WANT to ask you out he won't. Just because YOU want him to ask you out doesn't mean that he HAS to. If he likes someone else then he isn't going to ask you out.
