Is on the tele now. This prisoner has served 19 years in a british prison. He was being filmed talking to the parole board and needed a translator?
Wouldn't it have been cheaper to have thaught him English instead of wasting tax payers money on translators over the last 19 years. ?

No not everyone can learn a foreign language. Some people can learn languages easy. Some can't. I spent 2 yrs in Spain and couldn't learn Spanish to save my butt. And yes I tried. I know a few word and phrases, But couldn't get the jist of the language.
I took Spanish1 in highschool 3 times. And I know others like me that no matter how hard I tried couldn't get it to soak in. And I am a smart person.
Scored a 1390 on my Sat's but can't do the language thing.

The guy is in jail. He probably got in jail because he is not cooperating with anyone so he probably won't try to learn English either.

follow the money.....the government allows lawyers, solicitors, and all that ilk group to live off the taxpayer...already cost over a million......this bastard creates jobs for jailers, the system.....and he probably gets conjugal visits and the taxpayer is paying for illegitimate kids
