im 21 i fancy a guy who is only 19 which isnt too bad! im sure he likes me too! trouble is he is a gypsy n im not! i dont care that he is a gypsy just his family wont want him to get serious with me coz of our different backgrounds n beliefs. the thing is i know he likes me too - what shud i do? im v. good friends with his family who love me but are against non-gypsy weddings help!!

of course gypsies have moral values! they might not be law abiding like us but they show a hell of a lot more family values than we could ever believe in knowing!!! they are also loyal to those who are loyal to the,!

No, I can't bring myself to watch much of it so I'll limit myself. I know from wider reading that a wedding within the close knit world of the Romani is a big thing (as it should be anywhere) and that there is a lot of 'chipping in' to give the newly weds a start in life. One of the good things about Caravan lifestyle in Britain is you can avoid the beserko property prices that take about half of anyones income for a few decades! Also, I think that if you saturate a subject on TV like this you end up brainwashing people into thinking it's the same everywhere, everytime!

At the end of the day its where your heart leads dont worry what other people say stay true to what you belie ve..i used to go out with a boy who was on the gypsy line...learn about the gypsys ways and learn about respect - if you want the family to trust you!

hm .. you cold get along with him... as long as his relatives don`t find out about your relationship. I don`t want to scare you, but if his family finds out ... you will see a pack of 10 to 15 or more gypsies armed with swords and bats outside your home. I`m not fabulating, it`s a reality about gypsies. And also, find out if this guy is married or not. Usually gypsies get married at the age of 11-12. I once knew a 10 year old gypsy who was divorced twice. WHOAAA !!!
