My teacher said that if u dont think about anything for more then one second you can enter the mind of state in which you become an Indian thinker. An Indian thinker is when you dont think about anything your head is clear. I have become an Indian thinker lots of time and my friends and family members said they cant do that but i can is that wierd or what.

no such thing.

This is a meditative state but it has almost nothing to do with being an "Indian" thinker.
Buddhism and this type of thinking- meditations etc may have originated from India but "indian thinker" is a made up word.

Also such states cannot merely be achieved by "not thinking" about anything for more than one second... It takes longer than that and intense concentration, relaxation or training to quiet the mind.

No, it's not weird. It's nice to be able to do that sometimes when you feel stressed. haha. don't sweat it. I've never heard of this "indian thinker" concept. However, I'm sure if you prolong this ability you would be able to do it alot more, like meditation. You should probably be concerned if you can't control it and you find yourself slipping away from thought in school. You might just need to catch up on some zzz's. If you feel like things are over-loading perhaps your mind slips away for a break. Life definitely has plenty of things to stress you plum out.

You didn't mention anything about being depressed or having trouble with schoolwork, so it seems you're fine! Good luck, hehe.

your brain is ALWAYS processing. you never stop thinking, you just stop focusing. even when your alseep, your brain dreams thousands if not millions of dreams. your brain needs to keep going. i dont know what would happen if it stopped, but i'm sure it wouldnt be good.
