Don't do anything. You taking revenge on him won't make you feel any better, and it won't change what he did. Just get over it.

Find their weakness and exploit it doing something annoying but not illegal. I have a neighbor who was so upset about anyone on his property so he put up a 6 ft chain link fence. I took some old keys on a keyring and threw them into the yard right under his window. I heard from another neighbor that when he found them he thought someone was in his yard looking in his windows and lost their keys. He said he sits up nights waiting to catch them. Now that is funny! Maybe childish but it made me laugh.

Check out your city's codes and ordinances- trust me, the guy is bound to be breaking at least one! Check for things in his yard and in front of his house, such as cars that haven't been moved in a very long time, motorhomes parked in inappropriate and/or on unimproved ground in the yard...even having a too-ostentatious Christmas light display can be grounds for a citation. The city will not tell him who called in the complaint- it is illegal for them to do so. Code enforcement can be a very useful tool, my friend.

Spray a big hateful message into his lawn with Round-Up Weed Killer. In 3 days his grass will die and reveal the message for a looooong time. ;)
