I have searched everywhere for scholarships for my tuition, but it seams like everytime I find one, I find out I'm the wronge race. I'm not a racist, I just wish I could find some money for school myself!!

I did want to add that I already have a pell grant and 2 student loans... and I'm still short of funding... ( my ed. is gonna cost me about 90k...I have about 40k now)

Check with the financial aid department of your school. I am a single mother, white, too. I know how you feel. There is financial help. Fill out the FAFSA. You can do it online and that will start the ball rolling. I think it is FAFSA.com. It is legnthly and you will need your tax info from last year, but that's part of the process. Good Luck to you!!! why not get a loan or a grant through the government? if you get a grant you wouldnt have to pay it back. You should be able to find a scholarship if your grades are really good. There are a lot of them out there that have nothing to do with race. Try searching by major...

Try applying for a PEL grant. You can get one of those if you are white (I did!), but you have to be poor (bummer).
