Most certainly. Mainly when I got a stomach virus. Boy did everything pass through quickly. There's no resistance to the bile so along with gas and probably a little push from bowel contracting mechanism causes the speedy discharge of the liquid feces. It will continue until the virus or the food you ate passes completely through your system.

Dang!!! I hate when this happens! Most experience it at one time or another! Flu, maybe! Bad food, could be!
Flush twice and make sure you wash your hands!

lol i've never had it, though diarrhea is good for you since it is cleaning out you're system as fast as it can, however make sure to drink a lot of water if you do! because you could become VERY dehydrated and become ill that way, even death
