They can smell anything. Having the title drug dog mmeans that they are trained to smell out drugs. There are regular K9's that are not drug certified and also cadaver(I think that is how it is spelled) dogs.

Drug detection K9's are trained to detect marijuana, heroin, cocaine, and crystalmethamphetamine. The dogs are trained through repetition and reward. My dog is trained for explosives only. K9's can be dual certified (patrol and detection) or they may be single purpose (detection only). Good question.

the dogs are trained to all drugs. they can smell drugs on your clothes, through your sweat, on everything.. and you think washing your clothes helps..guess again..they can detect the scent on even washed clothes..

They can't smell anything...don't worry, they won't find your stash. It'll be fine....no need for concern. In fact, leave your stash in plain view...it confuses them. Let us know how it went when you get out.
