I am getting braces put on the 13th and needed to know what colors I should get and what looks cute. I am going to a dance and my dress is red but I hate the color red. I do like black, I think it makes your teeth look whiter.

Forget the red bands. Looks like blood. Many teens get a light grey which looks good, and matches everything! Have fun at your dance!

Well, personally I always disliked black because I thought that from a distance it made your teeth look black.
The great thing about braces is you can change them around every month or so. For right now, I'd go with red and green for two reasons. First of all, it'd match your dress and secondly those are nice Christmas colors, and with Christmas coming up, that'd be very festive.
Also, any shade of purplish-blue looks nice. My sister gets those often and gets complimented on the color a lot.

Well I was going to say Hott Pink and Black just because those are my absolute favorite colors, but Hott Pink would kinda clash with your red dress. I think that you're right about the blaxck bands making your teeth look whiter though, so you should definitely at least get black even if you don't get the Hott Pink too.

The actual braces I say go with the regualr silver that don't need rubber bands but if you do have to get rubber bands I would just go with the tan. Colored braces sometimes make your teeth look weird but silver is fine.

Get whatever color you want. The color comes from the little bands that hold the arch wire to the brackets and they can be changed every month. You are not stuck with any color scheme once you choose it.
Start with your school colors if you don't have any other ideas or match up with the closest holiday colors.

Why least noticeable? Its not like the 90's or something. From my experience people love braces specially at my school. Especially the colorful ones. =/ Color: Purple But if not.. CLEAR =[

I liked either pink or blue when I had braces. I never had black. Just remember the rubber bands stay on until your next appointment. Good luck.

If you hate red, then why is your dress red? Get all different colors so you can change along w/ each outfit!

Red may look strange in your mouth. It might be good to go with something neutral, like black, white or silver/gray. But if you think that's too boring, blue doesn't look bad, either.

Its Christmas get red and green. or red and white. So you hate the color red you won't be looking at your mouth others will.
