I have Music Match and iTunes on my computer. Every time I play a CD - I open up iTunes and then insert the CD and it plays. BUT after the CD is inserted, Music Match automatically opens up. This is driving me crazy! I hate Music Match. I'm wondering if I should just delete that program off my computer, or if there is way to change my settings so that only iTunes is automatically used for playing CD's and other audio files. I have Windows XP. Please help!

~ Open your "Control Panel" then "Add Remove Programs"

Look to the left side of the box.
On the bottom you'll see an option that says "Set Program Access and Defaults" Click it.
Click on the drop down menu to the right of "Custom" to expand it.

Scroll down to "Choose a default media player" and make your selection.

Click "OK "

Open Itunes and there's an option in the program to set itunes your default player for audio CD along with other thing. If you can't find it open up the help files for Itunes and search for "file extensions" or something like that. Or you can go into Music Match and do the same thing, except that you would want to set Music Match not to be the default player to prevent it from playing cd when it inserted.

you want by clicking the drop down window. To make it easy you can click restore defaults at bottom of the window

iTunes was actually made for MAC... but apple people tweeked it for WIN... so you have that problem... remove Music Match... you don't need it... iTunes is good enough.
