Your description fits the symptoms of a brown recluse spider bite. Basically, the white part is the dead tissue and the red is the infection. This circle will continue to grow as the necrosis (bacteria of decay/death) spreads outward. The bacteria actually catalyzes tissue decomposition.
I know of one case (personal friend and professional mentor) where the spread was slow at first and then on the third day, grew from the size of an orange to the size of a grapefruit.
If the bacteria enters a major blood stream it can travel far from the original site and begin necrosis at more remote locations on and in your body, including in highly sensitive and important organs. Antibacterial medications, like penisilin, combined with the scalpel (to cut out and remove the rotting tissue with the contaminating bacteria), and with immune system boosters can cure you quickly, but if left untreated, you will feel very sick (like a very bad flu), and it will eventually claim your limbs (amputation required) and life.

Oh my God YES!!!! It is nothing to screw around with. My dad was bitten in the leg by one 12 years ago. He went through 2 different skin grafts, 9 months of being off of work, 4 months of therapy and the possibilty of them removing his leg. Don't wait! Go!!!!! He is much better today, but still has problems with circulation and swelling in the leg that he was bitten in. Please go to the doctor or ER.

YES!!!
And the sooner the better. Over time the poison will start killing off your tissue, (and this can happen in a short amount of time as well)
You need medical attention ASAP.

Yes, if you do not go, you will lose whatever part of your body that was bitten. This is NOT something that can clear up on its own.
